A campaign website template — for a campaign that doesn't exist.

David Watson is running for City Council
…except he’s not. David is not running for City Council. He’s not running for anything. This entire website is a template — a starting point you can hand to a real candidate.
David does love Mountain View, though. He thinks it should have room for everyone, so he shows up at council meetings, talks to his neighbors, and cheers on the people who are brave enough to run. This site is here to make their lives a little easier (and to show off what the template can do).
What David cares about (but isn't running on)
Homes for everyone
David thinks Mountain View should have room for everyone — so he speaks up for more housing near jobs and transit. He's not running for council; he just supports the folks who are.
Streets built for everyone
David bikes these streets and wants them safe and connected. So he shows up to comment at council. He is not, to be clear, a candidate for anything.
Government that delivers
David likes honest budgets and decisions made in the open. He'll happily vote for candidates who deliver them. He will not be on the ballot.
A cleaner, greener city
David wants parks, tree canopy, and a livable climate for Mountain View. He champions all of it as a resident — not a councilmember-in-waiting.
This campaign runs on people, not money. Also, it doesn't exist.
There's no campaign — David isn't running. But there's a template, and a real candidate could put it to work.
